The role
As a hybrid on-site IT Technician, you will work directly with our clients at their facilities, a few days a week. You will act as a key point of contact for users, providing on-site support and ensuring the stability and smooth operation of the IT environment.
When you are not on site, you will join the services team to provide remote support (calls, emails, chat, alert management).
This role will allow you to develop concrete field experience while evolving within a structured and dynamic MSP environment.

Main responsibilities
Install, configure and diagnose client workstations and equipment
Perform support and maintenance tasks that cannot be done remotely
Participate in certain project activities as needed
Check and diagnose servers, network equipment and infrastructure issues, in collaboration with system administrators
Manage equipment inventories and maintain an organized work environment
Thoroughly document the interventions and technical information gathered
Assist the service center in resolving customer incidents
Analyze the requests to determine their priority and impact
Apply escalation procedures when required
Install, configure and troubleshoot remotely software, workstations, peripherals and mobile devices
Provide clear and professional support to users
Update internal systems and documentation
Participate in the on-call rotation according to operational needs
Collaborating with infrastructure and project teams
Skills and experience sought
DEC or AEC in a relevant field or equivalent experience
Knowledge of deployment, configuration and management of:
Active Directory
Firewalls, switches and wireless networks
Microsoft 365 and Exchange
Windows Server
Availability for occasional travel and on-call care

Strengths
French-English bilingualism
Experience in an MSP environment
Knowledge of scripting (PowerShell)
Relevant certifications (Fortinet, Microsoft Azure, other Microsoft certifications)
- Knowledge of NinjaOne and HaloPSA is an asset
- Knowledge and best practices related to the Microsoft ecosystem, including Defender, Intune and Azure
