Our story
A young company, a team that is not
OKTO Solutions Inc. was incorporated in 2025. That does not make it a standing start.
The people who make it up have more than 15 years of combined experience in IT services and have supported more than 100 organizations over their careers: professional practices with a handful of workstations, manufacturers with a production floor, non-profits, clinics. We always keep those two numbers apart, because the age of a company and the experience of the people inside it do not tell the same story. A business handing over its equipment to a provider deserves to know which of the two it is buying.
The company stays deliberately small. Small enough that you know who has your file. Big enough that nobody becomes a single point of failure the week they take vacation.

To make technology stop being something the owner worries about. There is nothing more mysterious to it than that.
A view past the next incident
Fixing things is the bare minimum. We also look at where the business is heading over two or three years: the workstations to replace, the licences to revisit, the risks to cover. That work has a name, the virtual CIO role, and it gets planned.
Results we can show you
We start from your business needs, not from a product catalogue. Whatever gets put in place has to be measurable: response times, incidents avoided, patches applied, backups verified. What cannot be measured still gets discussed, and we say so out loud.
How we work
How does a handover actually go?
A business changing IT providers has usually lived through a bad transition already. Ours was built to avoid that.
- The inventory. We list what exists: workstations, servers, licences, firewalls, backups, accounts. Nobody can protect a fleet they have never seen.
- The check-up. We separate what is urgent from what is important. An administrator account without two-factor authentication comes before replacing a laptop.
- The proposal. You get what we would do, in what order, and what it involves. The method is spelled out on the page explaining how we build a quote.
- The transition. The transfer from the previous provider is planned: access, documentation, monitoring tools, dates. Nothing gets cut off before the replacement is running.
- Steady state. Continuous monitoring, patching, user requests, follow-up meetings. That is where the partnership is judged.

What we do in Trois-Rivières outside of contracts
A service company lives off the place it sits in. OKTO Solutions sponsors Ékip Jeunesse, an organization in Trois-Rivières that helps young people. It is a local commitment, paid for with company money, and it has nothing to do with any client contract.

Where we work
Where does OKTO Solutions operate in Quebec?
The office is in Trois-Rivières, in the Mauricie. The service itself covers all of Quebec. The vast majority of requests are settled remotely, through our own monitoring and remote control tools. When a physical presence is needed, a switch replacement, an office move, a server going into production, the visit is scheduled with you and leaves from Trois-Rivières. There is no other location and we do not pretend there is: it is more honest and it saves everyone a bad surprise on timing.
