The rules that govern the use of this site. They are short, they are clear, and they apply from the first page you open.

Using the www.oktosolutions.ca website means accepting these terms. The content belongs to OKTO Solutions Inc. Reading it and quoting it with a link are permitted. Automated extraction, copying the content and using it to train a model are prohibited without written authorization.

1. Purpose and acceptance

These terms govern access to and use of the www.oktosolutions.ca website. The site is operated by OKTO Solutions Inc., with its office at 994 boulevard du Saint-Maurice, Suite 2, Trois-Rivières, Quebec G9A 3R3.

By consulting this site, you accept these terms in full. If even one of them does not suit you, stop using the site. These terms do not replace a service contract: where a signed agreement exists between you and OKTO, that agreement prevails for everything touching the delivery of services.

2. Ownership of the content and the marks

The texts, images, tables, diagrams, page structure, source code, layout and every element that makes up this site belong to OKTO Solutions Inc. or are used with the authorization of their holder. They are protected by Canadian and international copyright law.

The name OKTO, the name OKTO Solutions, the flame logo and the names of our offerings and tools are marks of OKTO Solutions Inc. Nothing on this site grants you a licence or a right of use over those marks. Third-party marks mentioned, including Microsoft, Azure and Microsoft 365, remain the property of their respective holders and are cited for descriptive purposes.

3. What you may do

  • Read the site, browse it and share it.
  • Print or save a copy of a page for your personal use or the internal use of your business.
  • Quote a short excerpt for information, commentary or research purposes, provided you name OKTO Solutions as the source and provide a link to the original page.
  • Link to any public page of the site, without asking our permission.

4. What is prohibited

The following uses are not permitted without our prior written authorization. They do not become permitted because they happen to be technically possible.

  1. Automated extraction. Site mirroring, harvesting, crawlers turned to other ends, mass extraction scripts, repeated calls meant to collect the content or to degrade its availability.
  2. Reproduction of the content. Republishing, translating, adapting or distributing our texts, images or tables, in whole or in substantial part, on another site, in a commercial document or in print.
  3. Circumventing technical measures. Attempting to reach a non-public part of the site or of its hosting, probing its defences, exploiting a flaw, introducing malicious code, or impersonating a user or a system.
  4. Model training. Using the content of this site, in whole or in part, to train, fine-tune, evaluate or feed an artificial intelligence model, a training dataset or a generative system, without our written authorization. This reservation covers direct collection as well as collection carried out through an intermediary.
  5. Misleading use. Presenting yourself as a partner, reseller or representative of OKTO Solutions without a written agreement, or reusing our visual identity in a way that suggests an association.

We monitor site traffic and we block abusive access. In the event of a serious breach, we pursue our remedies, including in court.

5. Accuracy of the content

The content of this site is published for information. We keep it current as best we can, but technology moves fast and a text that is accurate today may not be six months from now. Nothing on this site amounts to technical, legal, accounting or financial advice applicable to your particular situation, and nothing here replaces an analysis done on site, on your own environment.

Service descriptions, plan inclusions and the timeframes mentioned are indicative. Only a quote or a written agreement binds OKTO Solutions.

6. Links to external sites

Some pages point to sites we do not operate. Those links are provided for your convenience. We control neither their content, nor their privacy practices, nor their availability, and we offer no warranty about them. Visiting an external site is done at your own risk, and the terms of that site apply there, not ours.

7. Limitation of liability

The site is provided as is. We do what is needed to keep it available and free of errors, without being able to guarantee it. An interruption for maintenance, a hosting failure or a network outage can happen without notice.

To the extent permitted by law, OKTO Solutions Inc. is not liable for direct or indirect damages, loss of data, loss of profits or business interruption losses arising from access to the site, its use, its unavailability, or a decision taken on the sole strength of its content. This limitation does not apply where Quebec law does not allow it to be set aside.

8. Privacy

The processing of your personal information is described in the privacy policy, and the cookies placed by the site are detailed in the cookie policy. Those two documents form an integral part of these terms.

9. Governing law and competent courts

These terms are governed by the laws in force in the province of Quebec and by the laws of Canada that apply there. Any dispute relating to the site, its content or these terms falls within the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the judicial district of Trois-Rivières, province of Quebec, except where a provision of public order states otherwise.

The parties agree that these terms, like any communication arising from them, are drawn up in French. This English version is provided for convenience, and the French version prevails in the event of a discrepancy.

10. Changes to these terms

We may change these terms at any time, in particular to reflect a change in the law or in our offering. The applicable version is the one published on this page at the time of your visit, and the last updated date appears at the top. Continuing to use the site after a change means accepting the new version.
